We had a fun opportunity! choo!! choo!!
Monday, we were blessed with the opportunity to ride the BNSF railway to Red Oak and back for FREE! Can't get a better, cheaper family trip then that! It was about a 2-3 hour round trip and the kids had a blast! The BNSF provided snacks and beverages the whole way! They really enjoyed it! Especially Ethan! We told him we were going on a train ride and all he said all day and for the last week was choo choo!!! It is so adorable! He says choo choo every time he hears a train whistle now too! And we hear them a lot around here! Check your local area, they are doing this all over the country!

That sounds like so much fun! We all want to ride on a train and have been thinking about going over to Duluth sometime to go on the one there. A ticket for a trip like the one you took is around $20!
I know in the cities it is planned for a free ride the middle of the month... check BNSF for a scedule
come all over here! you will get all the trains you could possibly want for $30 for the whole family! You spend all night on the train and kids get to sleep on their own bunks. Plus the airplane ride, and taxis and buses. Benjamin was excellent in his knowledge of transportation very early. And it is good for the older kids geography. The cost to get over here is a little more then $30 though.
It would be fun to go over there Katie, but if we did I don't think it would be for the sole purpose of riding on a train!
