5 Love Languages

JR and have been motivated by our preacher to read the book "5 Love Languages". We bought it several years ago but never read it. Have you read it? Any comments about it. We did start it and skimmed it but never read it cover to cover. I am hoping it will help us learn how to better serve one another and love one another in a way each of us can receive it better and understand what we are trying to communicate. Pray for us in this endevor please. LMK if you have read it and any comments please.

My husband, Roger, and I have read the book and learned from it. However it's not as easy as it may seem to speak in another language. Mine is quality time and I sometimes really struggle with the words of affirmation my husband requires. I'm glad that my husband is patient with my inadequacies!

Hi Angie,
Yes, feel free to use the poem for whatever you need. That's fine with me.
Also, I've read this book too. I thought it was pretty neat, and I did see some truth in it. I'm not sure that everyone sees it broken down that simple, but if anything, it opened my eyes to the fact that we are each different and I can learn to love in different ways. There is also a kid's Five Love Languages out there too. I haven't read that one yet.

I've read it, but I don't think it has helped my marriage much.

Your funny Bob! It's good to be prepared. So if there is any potential of a women you can put that on your "employee" application! LOL

I actually haven't read it, Christy talked about it so much I didn't have too! The concept is excellent, it helps you reach out to people in your ministry too. It helps you to understand people, and be more effective.

Hey bob, There are plenty of Ukranian young ladies looking for a green card!
